Hey friends!
April was nothing short of inspiring—and a little emotional too, if I’m honest. I had the opportunity to be part of the Accessible Tourism Education and Awareness event hosted at VUT, and it reminded me exactly why I do what I do. Sharing space with people and organizations who are working to make tourism more inclusive was both humbling and empowering. It gave me hope that more people are finally starting to understand that accessibility isn’t a favour—it’s a right.
And if that wasn’t exciting enough, I also got to explore and write about some of the best AI-powered apps for blind and visually impaired users in 2025. From Microsoft’s Seeing AI to Envision and Be My Eyes, I was reminded of how powerful technology can be when it’s designed with everyone in mind. These aren’t just cool gadgets—they’re tools of independence and confidence.
So what’s coming in May?
This month, I want to go deeper. I’ll be looking at real-life stories from people in our community who are navigating accessibility challenges with grace and grit. I’ll be spotlighting voices that are often unheard and sharing tools that continue to shape how we see—and interact with—the world. Maybe even a personal piece or two, because sometimes, being vulnerable is where the magic happens.
Thank you for joining me on this journey. I’m learning just as much as I’m sharing, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Stay safe, stay seen, and stay hopeful.

With accessibility and inclusion at heart,
